But if you want to experience 6 DOF with your TiR, and relish the authentic sounds it is easily worth the $20 it now sells at. This is a very quick and dirty vid I captured, I haven't set BoB up properly, but wanted to share this any way. DDz Quorum Report Share Posted May 14, 2007 Glad you enjoyed it, I sacrificed my Hurri for that Hearing the 109 behind me firing, and the realistic bullet impact sounds was pretty good - I can see how this could be very immersing. The campaign side of it looks awesome, although I have never attempted it. Engine start up procedure is pretty good too, with the click-able cockpit controls. Didn't know there was already an older version of BoB.....so the one I'm waiting on in vain is actually a follow up? It would be great if the makers could write a patch with sounds and 6 dof for IL2......the impact of schrapnell and bullets, amazing...the sound of the flak blowing up.....I did miss the humming of the bombers on that fly-by though.... I've been reading in a swiffy on the forum, and they are talking about a patch which changes other sounds (machineguns?)and the clarity of cockpit glass? Are those different patches then the one you talked about? I'm gonna order it through their website, unless I can find a cheaper on E-bay, but I've already checked, to no avail...
