Fireman Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Thanks Rog, Postman just brought me a little gift. All your running around is much appreciated......... And now, for a separate install.....Im not messing around with the switcher. (Any ideas as to which file(S) I need to copy over from 4.04/4.05 in order to keep my pilot / custom keybinds / joystick settings/ etc.) Quote
Klinger Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 ~S~ Fireman. Good to see you lads over the pond are getting your discs. All I did was back up the conf ini file and the Users folder, and copy them both over. Quote
Blairgowrie Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Plus you might want to copy missions if you have some special ones and skins in Paint Schemes. Quote

Replaced conf.ini file and users folders...........seems to be fine Replaced Il2fb.exe (no DVD Crack).....seems to be fine. Gonna hold off on the patch until the final one is released...... Just tried to land the lerch.....what a joke....dropped out of the sky like a stone....could be why I hate helos.... Quote
Deacon352nd Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Just copy your Missions folder, Users folder, Paintschemes folder, your config.ini, and il2setup files by allowing them to overwrite anything that you have from your 4.07 install. Quote
Quazi Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Btw Fireman. The Lerch has had some modifications in the 4.071m beta patch that makes it more forgiving when trying to land. Something to do with the rudder. I believe it provides more stablilization when in descent. Quote
