OverDhill
Crash I was looking at buying one off Ebay when he had them but it was from over on your side of the pond. Shipping was $24 US by itself and the part was $65 US. So for less than the shipping price I made mine.
Gothkrieger
"having to doctor center post" So I gather the non standard plug is not available for purchase?
OverDhill
Well the one I found was pretty close but the post was just a bit too big to fit. The pins were all correct. They were cheap on Ebay
gec
this 5-pin mini-din is a big problem. but 6 pin mini-din is a standard and easy to find connector. all one have to do is break one pin from the male connector. the rest of the pins are in the same positions as in 5-pin mini-din. OverDhill
You can get the 5 pin connectors on Ebay for about a buck a piece
