1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted April 9, 2015 Author 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted April 9, 2015 After this grand session, with lotsa DD's on our server, and lotsa guest... good show it was! Now if there's anything you'd like to add, or see changed, just either PM me, or put it in a reply in this thread. Currently, the list of changes to do is: - Decrease AAA (too much now, causes framerate drops, possibly ... ) - Add Watchfield as active base
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted June 27, 2015 Author 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted June 27, 2015 More partial missions (ie. German bombers attacking targets) added, totaling 46 now. Base map: Some Red AAA added, placed somewhere. As for the Randomizer: It used to wait 4 to 10 minutes before a new partial mission was submitted, it now waits 4 to 8 minutes. Guaranteed more action! (Did it really need it? No, but, well, there's a war on, you know!)

Fatal
This is TWC_Fatal_Error commander of The Wrecking Crew, We have been using your server to train my pilots and would like to compliment you on a superb job and the map is tremendous FT as is your use of the FMB. It is my hope to some day collaborate with you setting up some strafing missions in the map for fighter pilots that are guarded by skilled enemy pilots that only spawn when the targets are threatened.Such as a train or a moving convoy of supplies. Each of my crew has commented on the layout you now have and this was the overall 1 thing they say they would all like to see for both the allied and axis planes. Again many thanks and fine job DANGERDOGZ!!<S> Fatal
BluBear
Thanks for your kind words Fatal, it's a great place to fly and fight isn't it?! We are also very lucky to have our very own FT who tirelessly puts targets in for us to shoot down / be shot down by. Also, if you or your fellow squad-mates so happen to feel like donating a small fee to help with the running costs, please do

As for my FMB skills, well, yeah, I got some... however, what you are suggesting... is all about coding, C## stuff... I am not at all familiar with that! (The spawning of AI flights in our server is being initiated from a self made external programme ... coded in VB) Anyways, your idea is a good one, would be very nice to have such an option indeed! (And a good start for me to learn the ins and outs of C##!)
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted August 28, 2015 Author 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted August 28, 2015 Fixed the Stuka's flying behavior: It appears they do need an object on the map to attack ... if there's no such object, and only a waypoint for bombing, they start their dive-procedure ( climb, wingover) and then abort it. Only to re-try it again a bit later, and so on, even when mid-channel. So, now they do dive onto their target....drop bomb and afterwards they try and fly home... in a German fashion...
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted August 30, 2015 Author 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted August 30, 2015 Fixed some more 'issues' and edited some missions, added some more: 58 in total now!
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted September 3, 2015 Author 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted September 3, 2015 Look, just after us DD's were done for the session: The numbers were like that and a bit + during the entire session!
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted November 11, 2015 Author 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted November 11, 2015 Removed the part of the script that removes one's aircraft within two minutes after landing. Also cleaned the main script of code that had no meaning to me. (In the end, anything can and may not happen now) Well, next time the mission cycles that is, some 6 or 7 hours from now... Today, I saw like 35+ peoples on our server!
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted November 28, 2015 Author 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted November 28, 2015 As of Today, a bombing target practice area has been setup. Location is F13, np 3 Picture: Now call this a Beta, as I just built it up, but have not dropped any bombs on it. Whether it is usable at high alt? I do not know, it may or may not be visible. It's been inspired by this picture, of a real practice target: Anyways, you should be able to go in low level, aim at a square or building (there's nine buildings SE of the 'ship') and see what goes BOOM! Notes: Whether or not you will be killing friendly targets, and getting kicked off of the server, I do not know. Who knows, German AI might attack it Just try it, see what it does.... and let me know whether it needs any changes...
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted November 29, 2015 Author 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted November 29, 2015 Creating a big Blue Mission: - 27 Heinkels will Bomb Biggin Hill - 12 BF-110C's will escort - 12 109's will escort. All at some 20k feet. Some screenshots from a test-run: View from a Blenheim en route: Views from externals in the air: View from the ground at Biggin Hill. Now, would this be good target to immerse yourself as being a hero RAF Pilot back in them days?

1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted January 23, 2016 Author 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted January 23, 2016 At the same location as the bombing target, I have now setup six targets for gunnery practice: The arrow is pointing to the East, so you better come in from the West, diving down heading East. (And go "TakkeTakkeTakkeTakkeTakkeTakkeTakke") Also, changed settings to Light Clouds. Set start time to 9 AM, so it will run untill 6 PM ... for some extra atmosphere ... Note: Changes will appear next mission rotation ...
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted January 23, 2016 Author 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted January 23, 2016 There gunnery targets are cool. If you shoot them up, the do get 'destroyed', their color changes from white to greyish: Now I did change the weather, I thought I took out all of the wind... yet the sock at Gravesend is pointing East, and when taxi-ing Southwards, I had to keep on kicking the rudder left to keep the a/c heading where I wanted it to!
