Looking into the issue... looks like something with Steam ...

Good show Fritz! Today, starting around 20:00 GMT, I will be hosting Coop's, using Hyperlobby, so that one is open for others - non dangerdogz - to join. (Will be using the public TS server.) On Sundays, we usually gather on the private TS server, and decide there and then what will be next... Sundays are usually for something special, SEOW, or some special event, or one of the longer missions... (Nothing really planned at the moment) Tuesdays and Thursdays are the our regular coop sessions. Also starting around 20:00 GMT.

Copy the current installation over to a different folder. Keep this for flying online. Now, uninstall the original one (this to get the 'Install' option available again). Install it, that will leave you with 4.07m. Next, patch the 4.07m up to the latest 4.12.2m. (Lots of patches!) Then apply HSFX 7.00 and 7.01 patch. BTW, have you tried the EnjoyrPatches I linked to? That did fix the issues regarding the campaigns on my test-install....

Are you looking in the Missions folder? (Like stated, ChkMods is focused on online play, not so much on offline play. So, it could very well be missing... not that ChkMods would remove it, it just ignores it, won't delete it, won't add it if it is missing.) However, I am pretty sure, once you've been able to start a Campaign, that Missions\Campaign folder will be created, it did on my system...

Fritz, ChkMods should have put IL2.exe in there, but it did not. My bad. I left it out somehow... I do not think with modding like you did removed the il2.exe, I'm pretty sure it was not there from the start. What I meant by my sentence "(And, for sure, that's not the case after using ChkMods.)" is that I knew for sure ChkMods would leave you with an IL2.exe and an IL2fb.exe which are not identical. In the end, that was not true, due to mistake I made. So basically, ignore that one sentence... Did some googling on the Stab thing, check these threads on the issue: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3226041/all/IL_2_Shturmovik_Stab_6_3_help.html If you now have both an il2.exe and an il2fb.exe that are equal, then ... I do not know what is wrong with ILStab, why it won't run...

If I remember correctly, you need to have file named il2.exe which is identical to il2fb.exe file ... (And, for sure, that's not the case after using ChkMods.) Try and delete the il2.exe file, then copy/paste il2fb.exe, then rename 'copy of il2fb.exe' to il2.exe and try again!

If you'd ever run that risk, by applying a fix, I would state that loud and clear, and would ask you first if you wanted to continue fixing this issue Installing a separate version of IL2 for offline play may not be a bad idea for you. As you may find out, there are a lot more mods for IL2 than just HSFX, you might like them... but the downside is, some of them will indeed make online play with us impossible. Make a backup copy of your installation of IL2 now, so you can use it now for offline play, or use it later on for the installation of other mods / modsets.

This appears to be what you need: EnjoyrPatchForNoAddons I have tested it to a clean install of mine, and it does change the text from Russian to English. Whether it really works and will generate your campaign correctly, over the entire run of the campaign, I do not know! (This one was created for v.4.09m, and as we're now on 4.12.2m.... well, I dunno what will happen!) I've attached the zip to this message. It will at loads of files to your installation, including some Jsgme mods contents. (Better not use chkmods afterwards, you can be pretty sure it will make a lot of the added stuff go disappear) Inside the zip is a self extracting executable, if run will result in an executable (PatchA_forNoAddons_v5.2_eng.exe) that you can then run to install it to your game folder. Sorry, I cannot help you here. Even in my stock installation I cannot start any campaign... all the listboxes of Rank and stuff are empty! (Yeah, you get that once you get too much involved in squad play, online play... I haven't used the off line stuff in ages!)

Your Dgen and Ngen folders are currently empty / missing, probably Attached are mine. Put them in your game folder, try starting the campaign a new... NgenDgen.zip

You can't, they lost the war ya know, better start studying the Russian language! Oh my... had I known you were going to use all this offline stuff, I'd never ever have advised you to use Chkmods!

Hill, you only need to download those if you want to host the missions, you do not need them if you're gonna connect to someone else whose doing the hosting... (Unless.. you would want to prepare, and download all the missions - all 2000+ -, and study them? )

Guys, your ideas and coding are good, and nearly solid, but do make sure is says 'kick DD_FT"... Believe me, I do know, as it took me forever to get Swep kicked at the appropriate times! JB, if that Tab has some movement sensor in it, you could just put it up on a swivel, put yer feet on it, and there ya go, rudders!

Okay, ChkMods now has those missing files in it, run it again, have it verify the stuff, and fix issues...
