    Our letting agents - that's Sandersons, btw everybody - are charging us for the 'priviledge' of renewing our contract, a princely sum of £60 - no itemised costing mind. Must take very qualified people to click a tick box on a computer! But, wait! - it get's better; "the landlady would like some photos of works recently done on the house. Would we mind taking the pictures and emailing them, thanks?" Extracting the urine - i think so! Why don't I just come down and type up your reports for you...

    A colleague of mine asked me why I'm so 'geeky' for aeroplanes today. My response? "You've never flown an aeroplane, have you?"

    Oh and a big THANKYOOOO to Helen Treacy, who many moons ago introduced me to the wonders of The Decemberists; The Hazards of Love. I got this album for Crimbo and am listening to practically bugger all else. Except some Radiohead. And a little Joanna Newsom. And Philip Glass, Naturally.

      Nice when you find an awsome artist that takes your breath away and it´s a keeper for a long time. I stumbled ower this newbie http://www.musicdealers.com/#!/artist/robbieboyd some time ago, from a commersial on telly. He sounded a bit like a young Johnny Cash (fist minute on Battle fields). Promising artist if he keeps it simple and mellow. Especially like in Stepping stone, Amsterdam etc.

    Apologies to all who've tried to text or phone lately; my long suffering mobile has expired. All is well though, as I have been donated a substitute!
