well, Jedi missed the halftrack with the bazooka, BA nearly gave away our ambush position with an itchy trigger figure, and my machine gun reaked havoc as these guys tried to get out of a halftrack. I think Artie mentioned something about being shot as well, lol. was great fun. Not long after that pic was taken i shot Jedi in the face a point blank range with an mg42. That was fun to!
  5. You've got good reason to go Nick, but maybe the other ticket can go to someone more deserving than us rabble. its just a thought.
  6. +1, disgraceful that some vets that want to go can't.

  8. Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro Series was top end 2.5 years ago anyway.
  9. I like my top end creative sound card very very much, it sounds fantastic with my THX 5.1 speakers. Works fine in win 7, have everything working including all software. and what software you get, its brilliant for manipulating sound stuff.
  10. Re procurement, this stat probably won't make you feel any better, but it goes some way to explain why we're so hopeless at it, "When it comes to military procurement, Israel spends £9 billion a year and administers its purchases with 400 people. Britain spends £10 billion annually on procurement and has a staff of 23,700 to do it." Source, channel 4 news It is a something that annoys the hell out of me also. If we assume that the average wage is £30,000 for these 23,300 extra people, which it won't be (since most are pensioned off high ranking officers), it will be much more, but using that figure, that works out at £699,000,000 in extra wages for a start. Worth every penny.....
  11. some more stuff, vid from inside one of the spitfires during the flyby and from the lanc (vid linked from the BBC by Brando if you can't watch it abroad). [media=]
