Seriously, I to have had to reformat the family PC around a month ago for exactly the same reasons as you Tom !
Already it has caught another one of these trojan things and it will NOT system restore and Malwarebytes , ESET, AVG rootkit, AdAware, Reg cleaner etc cannot get rid of it even in "safe mode".
I will try the method above asap.

Well I fixed that issue,
Then another dang issue occured. Stuck on loading humans 90%. If it ain't one friggin thing with new mods, it is another.
To be honest I really have had it up to here with this. I will try and address it later when I am done being slighlty upset with all this fuss.
At least there are still some DF servers on HL with 4.10.1 that I do not have issues with. I will calm down by bombing the shit out of something later.
Thanks for letting me rant and I hope to be able to fly with my pack again some day in the future.

I so understand your frustration with loosing flying time whilst fecking around with the fecking mods !
I had all of the same issues you have had and I am glad to say that they are all easily fixed as described above.
Just to make you feel a little better..... I had another issue last week where my computer decided to "restart" in the middle of a fecking mission and later went into a restart "loop" every 20 seconds !Turned out to be a failing power supply and/or Ram.
Thanks to Jabo's diagnosis and my £115 all is well again

OK Sid so you've heard something on the grape vine but there is more to it M8.
We recieved a call unusually by phone from control to an "animal in distress" around 2.30pm on Monday.
When we got there the situation was to say the least a little unusual. The sheep had been "bleeting" on about being dumped by "the one" for several hours according to neighbours.
Our Officer in charge asked the crew if any one of us knew the animal which of course we all did. Apparantly it was only me she had feelings for so it was down to me as the "man of the moment" to go up there and inject some sense into her.
After about 20 minutes of chasing her around that bloody chimney she lost her footing and that was that !
Yesterday I recieved an email from her sister saying that she didn't think it was my fault and if I wanted to talk I would be welcome to pop round : )
Now let that be an end to the matter OK !

Fenrir did the same for me as I'm using XP and all seems well now (fingers and toes crossed)
As for the UP3.0 thing ... I really like alot of the new features when compared to 4.101 BUT I hate having to waste precious flying time because of various issues or miss out on the company of a fellow DD who is having problems. So, I think we should always use the best touble free version , available at the time

Certainly the part about prisons is true . We visit Kingston Prison for "lifers" in Portsmouth every year and all that you said would apply.
British car, hmmmmmmm....... I guess it will have to be an Aston Martin bought in the knowlage that the investment company that bought them from Ford in 1997 is headed by a very British David Richards of Prodrive fame. I know it's a bit thin but I want an Aston !! LOL

Ah-ha! I didn't know about the sensor on the front of MSFFB stick - It's very annoying to have your stick go linp at the crucial moment just cos you've adjusted your grip

The next class is having its first gathering today , called SEPS, they explain what will come and make sure your computer is set up correctly. The first class will be Wednesday. I'll send a Email to Painless to see if he can find out if your in this class or the next.
Sent a message to Painless, I'm not sure he'll be able to find out ahead of time on who is in each class. If you just signed up a few days ago I doubt that they'd get you in this quick, I waited a month or longer.
Anyway he knows of this post and should get back to us soon.

For some reason I have not yet recieved any listings of students for the April BFS course yet and there are no posts on the JO forum.
The best thing for you to do is contact the BFS coordinator (Raptor) asap .............. raptor@joint-ops.com or funflak@joint-ops.com (senior BFS instructor) to see if you are in the April class.
You could also be on JO TS this evening at 7pm BST to speak to one of the staff.
Hope to see you on Wednesday for Session 1 : )

It has been confirmed that the Flying Bulls collection will be sending over their P-38 and Corsair to Duxford this year for Flying Legends.
This along with the possibility of a Mosquito stopping off from Oz to USA is a mouthwatering prospect.
This will also be the first time since 1996 that a P-38 has been seen in the skies of England.
I simply cannot wait!!!!!
