In my ignorance I thought that 800 x 600 would be worse than someone on a higher res. I have never pushed my res in an effort to get the best frame rates. Is this a correct assumption? I should post my graphic card detail at this point but i cant remember which exact card i have, i think it is a nvidia gforce fx5200? with 128mb

i am curious about the icon settings. i think that it might be fun trying it out one night on our own. it might make it easier to "sneak" up on someone. also perhaps make it a bit easier for those of us who seem to be bullit magnets to "hide" a little. Normal range for own side though to simulate radio comms of location. I do realise that this also may, for those of us with lower end graphic settings (i play at 800 x 600 32 bit) that some of the dots may be difficult to pick out. I would be interested in trying it as i said.

i have no problem with the scotish flag, you are more than welcome to have it. point of order mr chairman on the web site banner. excellent as it is..... the flags, you have the blue cross of st andrew for scotland but the union flag for england? It is the flag of Great Britian. So if the scots are having theirs please my I have the cross of st george?

If I remember correctly she said that she was now a "Businessman's Leisure Time Activity Consultant". She seems to be doing rather well. @jensenpark - I am working on the next one at the moment. I have to concur that it is do-able from the default spawn point on the carrier. After much practice I can now get off more times than not. Landing...thats another issue. I hav'nt checked what glen said but i have found that i it works when i hold her on the brakes and remove chocks before starting up. If glen said that in his advice, then sorry Glen :oops:

With the possibility of a large number of players, should we declare here a standard for graphic settings, connection speed etc to get the best connection performance for everyone? ok, sorted it (i think) i had shut the computer down for the night, was just having a last pee before bed, enjoying the solitude, the companionship....when it suddenly came to me. and iirc...there is a setting that traps the key, locks it from other applications. i must have had that ticked. will have a look when i get home tonight. many thanks for looking roger.
