I have been looking into using the sst software, to see what effect it has on my game and machine, and to see if the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Am I correct in thinking that i need to assign a keyboad command to all the functions in game first, then using the sst software, assign these keys to the stick? I downloaded the il2 profile form the saitek webside and this is what it seemed to suggest. Cheers Colin.

Chris, After trying your settings for a while, I decided to go back to all 100's and have found I am very happy with it.

i have just made the exact same move Bucky. I have configured mine without the use of the sst software and, when i can get to fly, think it has made my flying smoooother.

Hello, You should all be aware by now that I have just recently announced a new SEOW campaign. But what is "S.E.O.W" I hear you cry. This is an extended cop-op. The effects of one mission go on to effect the rest of the campaign. If you get killed then your side loses 1 plane from its stock for the rest of the campaign, which could last 6, 7 or more missions. Each mission lasts for 1 hour. We dont expect everyone to be there all the time, it would be nice, but we all know real life gets in the way of flying. There are a maximum of 16 slots per team for each mission. Thats 32 flyers in the air together!, how cool does that sound? We split the sides up onto differnt teamspeak channels. As a result you could cut the tension with a knife Icon settings are toned a bit to make spotting / recognition all the more important. The pressure turned up even more, whats that?, a dot?, is it closing?, have I got any friendlies nearby?, whats my altitude, should I dive away, has he seen me? oh, its a dead fly my kids squashed on the screen earlier. Team play is paramount, its the ideal place to really get to grips with being a wingman. So if you have not played before, head down to the Italy thread on the SEOW board and sign up. Friar.

thats from a great programme call "brainiac". they do crazy science stuff. things like whats the best explosive to destroy a caravan with. or if you was in an office and it started to flood, which piece of office equipment would keep you afloat the longest or lots of uses for urine or the ask the question is it to be taller or smaller and pitch a midgt against someone over 6'8" (i think) in differnt tests, like getting down a busy street full of shoppers or how many pints of beer does it take to effect a mans performance at sport or how many pairs of pants can you wear before you cant walk or can you boil an egg with losts of mobile phones things like that but i dont watch it much

well after spending a few hours changing things about and flying test missions i think i have got it sorted with out the use of the sst. the only thing i did want to do was to be able to control the map from the hotas, but i guess that will mean doing it via the sst as the mouse on the throttle does not seem to be recognized in the game set-up. but over all, i'm pretty pleased with how i have got it set up. many thanks for all your input guys, much appreiated, now if you will only sit in my sights so i can see if the trigger works, then that would be fine.
