I start out with gr. 10's, then I get the 11's and 12's who want the 30 level course. I teach them word processing up to advanced desktop publishing using Word, and also Publisher. I haven't gotten into Adobe yet, due to the cost of a 100 site liscense. I also do Excel and Powerpoint, for use in school reports and presentations. Another teacher here does programming and website design. Some of the graphic design that my students can do with Word is incredible...I'd like to be able to use Photoshop tools, but it's real expensive.

This site works too. I found it last year when teaching my students how to embed YouTube in Powerpoint. http://keepvid.com/?url=http%3A//keepvid.com/%3Furl%3Dhttp%253A//keepvid.com/

  7. B.C. dad arrested after baby dials 911 from grow-op Last Updated: Wednesday, January 21, 2009 | 2:49 AM PT The Canadian Press A B.C. man probably wishes he had given his 11-month-old son a set of keys to play with instead of a phone, after the infant accidentally dialed 911 and brought police to his dad's marijuana grow-op. Mounties say a 911 call came in from a White Rock, B.C., residence Friday morning, but whoever was on the other end of the line hung up. Officers arrived at the residence, and after numerous knocks on the door went unanswered, they entered the home. "The gentleman was quite surprised," said White Rock RCMP Const. Janelle Canning. She said the 29-year-old male, startled by the sudden sight of police, insisted he hadn't made the call. When it was suggested a child might have dialled, the father objected and said his son was far too young. That's when police spotted the baby boy, phone in hand. "We saw him playing with the cordless phone and just pressing all the buttons, so evidently he had called 911," Canning said. With that mystery solved, officers began inspecting the residence and soon discovered a 500-plant marijuana grow-op. The father was arrested and will appear in court in early April on charges of production of a controlled substance and mischief. The boy was removed from the home by the Ministry of Children and Family Development, though he was later released into his mother's custody. The mother does not live in the residence and had no idea what was going on at the home, Canning said.
  8. Yup. POL and exhaust stains forthcoming too.
  9. Ok, I did a bit of paint chipping.
  10. You need to hit your autopilot button. There's a way of setting it to manual control by default as well, but I don't remember right now. If you jump in the seat and hit autopilot to take control, don't forget to give control back to the autopilot, or you'll have a 'dead' manual gunner back there.

  12. Good to hear from you, mate. I missed your animated hop-scotch box trap!
  13. Just a suggestion here from my experience... I was always having trouble with TIR cutting out in various situations - it especially would lose track in one direction or the other; not usually both. It would also not track linearly or smoothly. I finally took a good look at my hat. It has wording on the front with a bit of silver colouring to it. I thought that maybe it was interfering with the reflectors, so I covered it up with black hockey tape (no, there isn't anything that hockey tape can't fix!) Since then, I've had no TIR troubles at all in any conditions, day or night, lights off or on.
  14. I'm with DT on this one. Whenever I hear one of these stories, I head to Snopes.
