  1. Hmm... Mayhem, why didn't you just post your tutorial instead of making it an attached word document? This tutorial section is kind of for posting them right here I think. Do you need some help with that, or is there a reason it needs to be a download Word document? I uploaded the images and turned it into a full tutorial. When converting Word documents (or any other document with formatting and pictures for that matter) you have to do the following to create a tutorial: Copy all images in order to a convenient folder on your PC, name each image with sequential number for ease (I used 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. but they could just as easily have names/descriptions too). Copy text from document and paste into notepad, then select from notepad and paste into post here to strip out formatting. Place images in-line as required. Give your self a pat on the back for helping others
  2. http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums/tutorials/article/13-test/ Looks to me like you can, I did that using your account How are you trying to create a tutorial, and in which category?

Plus it makes it easier for one of the 'Sisters' Friar has so ably trained to find us in our hour thirty seconds of need..
  4. First off, I have today applied a new patch to the Forums, bringing it up to date and fixing some minor issues. The ClearCut skin needs to be upgraded too, does some funky things when trying to move posts/topics etc.. Will do that later today. Bigger news is I have now installed TS3 Server on the k9squadrons site. We have a 512 client licence per server (we can have 10 Servers too..) so plenty of potential! The current rental on our TS3 server is due to expire in a few days, and I will not be renewing it so will announce the new server go live details soon. I will pre-stage the room creations, and sort out the admin accounts too, ahead of time. We can share files and will no longer need to use a public service to get our TS Viewer working It's over @ k9squadrons.com:9987 and password is the usual. BG - I can create a dedicate Ubi Zoo server if you want too
  5. I have installed a new TS3 server now, k9squadrons.com:9987 Currently 32 user limit, awaiting our free clan licence that will allow 512 and unlimited servers.. Annual rental on current is about to run out and I will not be renewing it, new one has file sharing enabled and we can see it's status without having to be public. Will formally announce cut-over date (once I've worked out when it is )
  6. OK fixed. Let me know if you still cannot access PMs please
  7. We have a problem with the database, attempts to fix so far have failed. Need to do a bit more troubleshooting, and raise a support ticket. We have a patch to apply too, this has not been successful on a test board so again will raise a ticket for help.
  8. Could be wrong, but a quick perusal of the site you linked mentioned DX games the overlay works on. As IL2 is OpenGL it may not work.. Mumble on the other hand has an overlay built-in, and it works with OpenGL and DX games. Quality is on a par with TS3, plus it has in-game positional enhancements (in Battle Field etc. it presents other players output relative to their position to your in-game character - so a guy behind and left will come in at that postion and with volume attenuated relative to distance too). If any one would like to try Mumble grab the download from the link above, and connect to this server: noparameters.com port 64738 I put a test channel there for IL2
  9. Sometimes removing the battery and clearing CMOS at same time is in order. It can take more than just a quick setting pins 2 and 3 to clear too, leave the jumper in position for 10+ minutes. Some mobos have a built-in speaker, others do not and rely on a chassis mounted speaker too
  10. On holiday, not going anywhere - just 2 weeks being a sloth :)

  11. On the run line type in: cmd Hit enter, you now have a command console running (black box with flashing cursor). Now type in that: ipconfig /all Hit enter and copy the text as suggested by Gec.
  12. Flattering shot of me there Kelly I16, that flew over as I was pulling up at the pub on my way home from work, to meet you guys. Bloody thing is all engine, how many cranks did that French git of a commentator say it needed to raise or lower the gear?
  13. Sometimes it does it because it can.. Could be nTune probed and took out a setting. Make sure all BIOS settings are as they should be now, X52 could be the change in USB port?
  14. Yup that's the one Kev, reset that and see what occurs
  15. Reset the CMOS! One of the first things to try when a system fails to post, Asus boards were good at this, apply power and sweet fanny adams. Reset CMOS by jumpering it, sometimes took 10+ minutes, then they would spring back into life.
  16. If it is indeed a MSFFB2 as the topic title suggests, then it is indeed a USB device. I have 3 of them now, I think, 2 for sure and my 'live' one has started to display alarming behaviour, keeps disconnecting. Perhaps it is sulking due to lack of use...
  17. I tested a thread with same images from photobucket vs same images from our server. Amazing difference in speed.. Looking forward to seeing some of your pics BG

    Hello

S! Lobster and welcome mate! DD_Lobster is the way, and with pride 'Beds UK' then, so county next to me (Cambs).
  19. Was indeed a most excellent meet, reaffirming the bond we guys have. Saturday night was a magical experience, both for me and my brood, and the friendly rivalry with the singing duel between the 'RAF' guys and the German contingent was a fantastic backdrop in a most 'DangerDogz' manner - my kids and Mrs loved it. Brilliant to once again see old friends, some of whom I had never set eyes on before, and to indulge in our joint passions of warbirds and alcohol. Going to book an appointment with a shrink to try and work out why I missed two previous events, even though I'm only 19 miles away, and to get some heavy duty counselling. My lot here have already said they are looking forward to doing it again next year, and Hannah wants IL2 installed on her PC S! The Dogz one and all.
  20. All grouped together now, sitting in the shade under the wing of a VC10. Will post some more pics shortly
