Driver/Pilot could stream video via Discord maybe?

Hey Friar, Zukker is slowly improving with some movement in his legs allowing walking exercises. His right arm he can't lift up, left arm has movement and can raise higher. He has some function as he surprised us by coming on Discord the other night sounding chipper and determined to work hard, and with time get back to flying with us. It amazes us how friendly and close we all become toward each other, even over the net miles miles away. Stay safe and Healthy my Friends. Wingy

There was discussion last night about what in-game tactical information is displayed, for example when you kill a unit. I have discovered that although I have this setting disabled in the mission, it is currently down to each persons choice. If you want to see it the box needs to be ticked in your "Options", if you would rather wait until to you get back to bank the points and see the type of units you have killed, disable it. (see below) If enough people would like I can force it via the mission editor for the mission. The setting shown below, if added, would force battle Damage to be off (Its not ticked at the moment)

Ok Chaps, listen up. I have had another of my, sometimes, wild and "out of the box" ideas. I have had an idea for a "Virtual Christmas Party" get together to get as many Dogz in the same place at the same time as possible. My idea takes the form of "Treasure Hunt". Two teams on Discord (using this for possible option of pilot to stream their flight back to the team) will be given clues to locations on one of our DCS maps, (probably Normandy). PLEASE DO NOT STOP READING IF YOU DO NOT HAVE DCS - ITS NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT, PLEASE READ ON... Each team will have a single helicopter pilot (Huey?-I think enough people have this module?) and a co-pilot (who must also have Combined Arms which can be downloaded on a free two week trial) The rest of the team members do not need the map or a helicopter or even DCS! Their job is to act as clue solvers (the clue leads to a hidden location) using the power of the internet and research and then feed back the location to their pilot to direct them to the next clue location. Once the pilot lands at where the team thinks they should be the co-pilot will exit the helicopter and be given a Willeys Jeep to drive to the "exact" clue location. Once they have arrived at the correct location, they will be given another clue for the next location and so on. Both teams (probably on separate routes) must race to the final same clue location to claim the final prize and victory. This idea has been inspired by a late eighties British TV programme (which was its self taken from a French TV idea) called "Treasure Hunt" (hopefully you can see the link to a sample TV episode below to get the idea of what I am trying to do) What do you think? Have I left the lid of the glue tin again or does this have some merit? I would probably suggest we try and run it on a latish Sunday evening UK time to try and suit as many time zones as possible. I have not started building the clues yet but am thinking the event should last about 90 minutes or so? If you think it does sound like a "goer" please let me know in a post below and if you would like to take part.

Hi Sid, Everything in your dcs saved games folder is your personal settings for dcs, usally found here, C:\Users\kevin\Saved Games\DCS If you make a back up of that, reninstall dcs on your new drive, and then copy that over the new saved games dcs folder the fresh instal will create, will have all your settings.

Hi Sid, hope you are well. I guess it would be the controllers (which is in the "Config" directory) and skins? Others with more tech savvy knowledge should hopefully chime in. Looking forward to the day we get you back in the air with us. We have just started a 1944 Normandy rolling campaign.
