I recorded this last night and I've watched about half of it - thanks to a timely heads-up from Flyboy  - and I'm quite impressed.

Despite the anachronistic, and frankly stomach-churning title, this is a well made documentary about the early history of powered flight and its adaptation to the battlefields of the 14-18 war. This is copiously illustrated with photographs and film from the time - and the modern counterpoint uses the men and aircraft from an extraordinary organisation from Down Under; who are actually manufacturing and flying many of the early models that haven't been seen for more than 60 years!

I won't give too much more away - I just wanted to point up what a professionally made docu this is. Hopefully it will end up on YouTube at some point.

Wow! Looks awesome Brando, thanks for the heads up! Did a little research and it appears that in North America this show will be on the Military Channel. But I can't find when or anything on their website...... keep your eyes peeled lads!
