DD_Brando Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Hi and salute Prior to this time I used a specially modded HOTAS designed and built by a one-armed, left-handed person, namely me. I made it using the internals from 2 Fightersticks as can be seen in this link Also I have Pro pedals. Now I'm working on a replacement which will condense a Fighterstick and a Pro Throttle into a single item within the base of the old CH Force stick. Which raises my first question: Does RoF use force feedback programming and is it useful? My second question comes as an extra to the latter. If FF is worthwhile in RoF then I have the option to add the effect using a Logitech PCB to read the X & Y axes and send the signals to the FF motors. So: Do you think this will cause recognition issues with the in-game recognition of my flightgear? I also plan to use a panel with a Leo Bodnar circuit board and various sliders, switches and buttons. Will this be easy to program? Thanks to anyone who has any input on these issues Brando Quote

2. Administrators Jabo Posted June 12, 2011 2. Administrators Posted June 12, 2011 As far as I understand it, the Bodnar board acts just like a bog-standard stick and works with the native drivers supplied with Windows (7) for the assignment of buttons/sliders etc Jabo Quote

That'd make my day! I am so bored not being able to fly Ross Quote
T_O_A_D Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Yes ROF uses FFB I quite enjoy it in that Game. I don't use it in IL2 man reason is I alt tab too much and loose it, so I just turned it off. Quote
