After fighting their way through the Les Esserts forest and retaking the fortress at Domgermain, our infantry is attacking Toul itself. The only way that we could be stopped at this point is if our artillery were to be destroyed. Without artillery support our mobile forces are doomed. Our forces must reach the city of Toul. Fly cover for our attacking forces and protect our artillery. Reports of a German DFW flight in the area are a cause of concern, remove that concern at all costs. Good luck men! Quote

PropNut Posted May 18, 2011 Author Posted May 18, 2011 Unfortunately we did not have enough pilots to fly the mission, but I would like to thank those pilots that did show up, CaptJack (Deadmeat Jack as he is known in RoF), BadAim, WH_Sparky, and Gustang. I understand that we are competing with spring weather and that we will lose when it comes to getting outdoors after an awful winter so maybe next week we can run this mission. We did fly several favorites including Gustang's Eindecker/Neiuport 11 dogfight, Fifi Two Bridges and Metz Bridges with Bombers. Good time to be had by all (except BA when his Albatross DV simulated poor ground crew maintenance and would not start). Good luck and happy skies! Quote
