Wish I Could Install It..

Bought the download from US Amazon.

Downloaded fine using the Amazon downloader, four times now, and attempted install countless times.

Keeps telling me I have corrupt files, not always the same either.

First attempt it fell over doing the 3rd party stuff, DirectX, but I found I could run it if I dug out the exe file.

Used Aministrator (run as) and same result.

Wonder if I have a RAM issue

Try the download from the RoF server instead of Amazon and activate it when you are in the game instead, the site is down currently so I'll post a link when it is up again.

I had downloaded a torrent version.

That installed OK, so looks like the Amazon download is corrupt.

Great thing is they refer users to the publisher if there is a problem with download.

So buyer beware!

early on in beta testing it, I reported that the addon software, direct x and microsoft stuff had to be installed sepratly, in Win7 and not allow the game to do it during install.

Possibly this has came back as a problem?

Yes I got it installed, can run it on max settings (so far in training etc.).

First install baulked at the DirectX stuff, all subsequent installs keeled over with the missions file(s)..

And the DirectX did die with the good install, but didn't phase me!

I'm liking what I see so far

Just got to get control assignments sorted out now, profiles for my CH gear etc.
