System restore can be turned off completely, in that case I'm thinkin' it won't be creating any restore points at all... (Could running diskcleanup affect this? I should know, but I don't. I've got it switched off) What does the error tell you? There should be some codes in there, that might tell us about what's causing it. (Right click 'My Computer', select 'Manage'. Then select 'Event Viewer', system log. Look for errors in there, 'save dump', open that one, click the 'copy' button on the top right hand side. Then paste in a reply here...) Check the inside of the case for dust, see whether the video card's fan is still spinning... Quote

Bucky Posted February 27, 2011 Author Posted February 27, 2011 Well now IL2 loads fine.I didn't do anything,the blue screen is just gone.However still cant go back to a previous system restore point.I checked and it is turned on. Quote
