With FS Auto Start you can shut down all the services and programes you don't need to run FB. I can walk you through set-up on TS if you would like and then Dave can write a procedure lol. It will make your game run much better with fewer lockups etc. A definite for all hosters. Quote

If I closed some of the stuff that bloke has done I could get it down to maybe 20. I will upload my program files for FS Autostart to this thread. Apparently the patch is no longer available from the Ken Salter Website. Quote

FSAutostart 1.1 11 needs the patch to run properly. I just did a couple of searches but it doesn't seem to be available anymore. I have the patch. The zip is 238KB. How can I get it to you? The post which has drawn my attention is bbloke's about stopping zonealarm and avg. Question for BBloke: Is this safe for you only becaue of the way your hardware is configured? Allways mindful of trying to squeeze the last bit of performance out of my machine, I have asked about shuting anti virus down when playing within the dangerdogz before and was advised to leave them up. I am on broadband from BT using a standard usb BT modem. Any thoughts or guidance welcome. Quote
