Our Friends' New House

Helen's best friend and her husband just purchased this house and 2 acres located just north of Toronto. She owns a ladies dress shop and her husband runs a big bulldozer for a construction company. They bought it unconditional with a July 29 closing. It is currently owned by a commercial pilot and his wife. I thought some of you guys might be interested in what $770,000 will get you here. It just needs the attentions of a good professional interior decorator and it could look quite nice. Likewise the landscaping. Right now it looks like an exhibition area at a high-class builders merchant - very nice quality, but too many styles of finish to be comfortable on the eye.

Let's hope your friends are a little more discerning in their tastes.
