After 5 years, my wife finally finished a leaded glass piece for our master bedroom. Yours truly was asked to install it and promptly drove a nail through the double pained window breaking the air seal and cracking the inside glass. Nice effect don't you think?

Wow, that's beautiful work (your wife's, not yours). I can imagine you've been beating yourself up pretty thuroughly over this, but accidents do happen. I'm sure you feel all better, now that I've provided you with this wisdom!

You know, Arsenal: I just have to laugh/gag every time I see your avatar.

Poor old sam...can you imagine the looks he got when getting taken out for walks?

I think we should make him the Patron Saint of the DD's.

Wow Weasel has done some great work there BG :)

So why did you think it needed nailing again?

If you look closely you will see the leaded glass is held by some trim (that I carefully made in my workshop). I had to nail the trim to the frame and misjudged where the window started.

Helen thought I did a cracking job on the installation.
