JensenPark Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 ok, I have a lot of other issues, I admit. But can someone help on this: new computer has only on-board sound. When I go to HD VDeck program to test the speakers, it shows the all work (have 5.1 surround speakers) The second I start up a program (game, video, internet porn, youtube...) it defaults to solely the two right speakers. thoughts anyone (beside get a sound card)? 1. DDz Quorum B16Enk Posted January 28, 2010 1. DDz Quorum Posted January 28, 2010 In Windows 7 right click the speaker icon and select 'Play Back Devices' Highlight 'Speakers' Click 'Properties' Set speaker config (5.1/7.1/stereo etc to match what you have) Click 'Test' If you find speakers don't all work check cables are correctly plugged, often centre/sub can be plugged into side/surround socket etc.. JensenPark Posted January 28, 2010 Author Posted January 28, 2010 hey, I've done that. They all work in the tests perfectly...but not in game or when playing movies or any program. Quote
Snacko Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 When you look at your playback devices did you set one as your Default? Quote
