Looking for a good sub sim

Ok, never tried any of the submarine sims I've seen just in passing over the years.

I played silent hunter before I found IL2.

sh3 for the atlantic, sh4 for pacific.

As snacko just said he gave me Silent Hunter 3. I think its blast (now that i figured out how to play it)

I play Silent Hunter 4 as well. Its a good game especially with all the mods that are available for it.

I've played, and enjoyed, SH2 & SH3. And with those two sims, you had the option to either fire manually, entering in all those angles/azimuths/bearings etc in yourself, or you could leave it for the computer to do it automatically for you. So I'm sure SH4 has the same option too. Sort of leaving you to do all the Captaining, and leaving the firing solutions to the Weapons Officer. You just press the 'big red button.'
