Zooly Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 The program initially gives a correct reading of my CPU (a Phenom 9500 slightly overclocked) then both go down by half (both cpu speed and the multiplier), does anyone know why this would be happening? Quote
Blairgowrie Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 That happened to me when I was overclocking. Seems there is a setting in the bios that slows your computer right down when there there is no load on it. As soon as your start running something, away it goes. I can't remember what the bios setting is but I could do some searching if you want. Quote
Zooly Posted August 8, 2009 Author Posted August 8, 2009 I had an idea that might have been the case, thanks for the confirmation BG Quote
Blairgowrie Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 OK just found the post where you can adjust your bios to turn off the power saving feature. http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums/index.php/topic,7236.45.html Quote
