New Machine Temps

Having got a new machine with allsorts of clever stuff on it, I thought that I had better start using it...

System temps

standing idle, no applications running (28 background processes) the temps are as follows;

CPU 39 c

Looks good to me.

Room temps will have influence.

My E6600 runs 33C when idle, at room temp of 23C.

Looks fine to me Colin, my processor runs typically @ 10-15 deg C above ambient with gpu temps rarely above 70 deg C (usually around 40 - 50 deg). Try this handy little utility for monitoring CPU, GPU and HDD temps and fan speeds;
