Blairgowrie Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Helen and I went to a heavy equipment auction near Toronto yesterday. I didn't buy anything but some of the stuff was awfully tempting. Here are some photos. Quote
GreyKnight Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 What exactly were you after BG? One specific... 'thing' or a complete set of 'thingies'? Quote
1. DDz Quorum Painless Posted May 6, 2009 1. DDz Quorum Posted May 6, 2009 ~S~ BG, Did they have any exhibition stunt drivers doing stuff ? Quote
Blairgowrie Posted May 6, 2009 Author Posted May 6, 2009 Primary interest was in an excavator. I liked the look of a 2002 Hitachi 200LC but it had high hours (10,205) and sold for $38,000. Another guy who is an excavator driver was meant to go down with us but he got his dates mixed up and was in the Dominican Republic yesterday. It was a very interesting day with lots of Willie Nelson look alikes. Quote

Snacko Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 I would skip these and just by an old WW2 Sherman and put a shovel on her front, and use the cannon to knock down trees. Quote
