1. DDz Quorum B16Enk Posted May 3, 2009 1. DDz Quorum Posted May 3, 2009 Start by providing us with a Dxdiag: Start > Run Type in: dxdiag then hit enter Let it complete all tests (you can tell it not to do the WHQL bit) then.. Click 'Save All Information' - this defaults to saving a file called dxdiag.txt on your desktop, open that in notepad and select all and copy, then post that data in a post here. I suspect that you have been walloped with an known Intel grahics driver issue, but need to see the dxdiag results first. Quote
Smash Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 I dont have run on my Start Panel Thats odd now What? Quote
1. DDz Quorum B16Enk Posted May 3, 2009 1. DDz Quorum Posted May 3, 2009 Do you have start > accessories > command prompt? If so fire it up, and enter dxdiag in there. Quote

1. DDz Quorum B16Enk Posted May 3, 2009 1. DDz Quorum Posted May 3, 2009 Try downloading the drivers again from here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/T8Clearance.aspx?url=/17353/a08/win2k_xp14371.exe&agr=Y&ProductID=2800&DwnldID=17353&lang=eng The bit in your Dxdiag: AGP Status: Not Available Is concerning. delta7 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 @ B16enk would it have any agp drivers as its a mobile chipset ? from your posts with the error message and with graphics crashing , it might be a graphics an overheat problem or a memory problem - an extra gig of memory might help if possible. when does your machine crash? Quote
1. DDz Quorum B16Enk Posted May 5, 2009 1. DDz Quorum Posted May 5, 2009 @ Delta I believe it would, as the GPU is effectively a PCI-Express device and as such would have AGP (I know it's nuts but that's the way it is!). Delta made a good post, I wanted to see if re-loading your drivers fixed the AGP issue and possibly the crash too, as IL2 may not display the same symptoms with teh newer driver if it is installed OK. Re-post your Dxdiag Smash and let us see if it helped. If that didn't I would suggest un-installing the drivers from add/remove programs and trying an older driver. Quote
Smash Posted May 5, 2009 Author Posted May 5, 2009 okiez il take a screen shot next time the error thing pops up. Quote
