Oldtimer Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Having spent a torrid 2 days re-installing the game, I now find that the problem was caused by the Vid card settings! All the patches are in and it seems ok except - I can't load 4.08 clean from the AAA source on the switcher menu. Quote

The switcher copies C:\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\_Game Switchers\4.08 Mods OFF (Original)\files.SFS and il2fb.exe to the root of your game folder. (the italics is specific to my install, yours will likely be different). You can use the MD5Summer from the vault to confirm your files are ok with the attached MD5Sum. DD_Brando Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Snacko, yeah, there is a patch released for the AAA v1.1. It's not large (48.2Mb), or critical to game play. It's called 1.1.1 It does not affect checkRuntime settings either and can be found here B Quote
