DDz Quorum Posted July 25, 2006 a chap i help out has just got a new dell computer. he ordered surround sound as an extra. the computer arrived fine but they sent him a european plug version of the sound system. he was getting nowhere with dell so i called them on his behalf. to their credit dell sent out a complete uk sound system to me no probllem and did not want the wrong one back. i installed it for him last night. i then took the euro one off his hands for him, cut off the plug, re wired it and now i have surround sound !!!!!!! ....unless someone with electrical knowledege is going to tell me that i have done something wrong? DDz Quorum Posted July 26, 2006 having praised dell on their prompt service, i thought it only fair to let everone know that they they are so good, they have sent another set of speakers out. we have phoned them and tried to get them to take them back. fine they said, send them back, not likly we said, you come and fetch them we said. cant do that they said, so keep them they said! :shock: Quote
