Once connected to the internet and having started teamspeak, could i turn off the antivrus software to free up memory and resourses as i am connecting to a host direct via the ip address? Quote

Not because you are likely to get a virus whilst connected to a DF/Co-Op server, but because it is easy to forget to turn it back on and you are still open to potential trojans. AV does use resources, but it is very little and you could add *.sfs files as an exception to not be scanned by real time protection if your AV allows that level of granularity. Quote
