Arsenal Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 I came across a WW2 training vid that I'd like to watch, but it is a bit torrent, and I have no clue how they work (yes, I tried). Does anyone already have this film that they can send my way, or anyone have a grasp on how torrent works? I would much appreciate it! http://www.torrentspy.com/torrent/611840/German_Snipers_training_film_1944_English_German_Audio Quote
TopAce Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 Okay, very quick explanation, not much time. A torrent is a file to d/l another. But you need a program for it. I use BitLord (www.bitlord.com/), but there are many torrent programs out there. With that program, you load in the torrent and boom, d/l starts. But, you share programs too! (knew kazaa? is the same, but different) Good luck! BTW, the movie is 670mb... Quote
Shadow Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 Hi Arsenal, I'm going to D/L it anyway, so I can upload it to Usendit for you. Let me know. BTW, torrents can take a loooong time to complete, so don't hold your breath. Freelancer Quote
Waldo.Pepper Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 I have it already it is EXCELLENT! Easily one of my favorite documentaries/thingies. If you want I can send it to you via MSN messenger or yousendit, or rapidshare or something like that. Quote
JensenPark Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 d/l something called 'azureus' it'll d/l the program for you think it works best with bit torrents. from what I understand, bit torrents work like the old napster - except you d/l from multiple people = thus speeding up the process. Quote
