hooking up computer to lcd

Hi all:

I'm about to go (finally) replace my 15 year old TV with a new LCD.

I want to use my beloved computer as a dvd for it.

Is this a video card issue (as in, do I need a special vid card?) or is it something I need to ask for in the TV?

Hi Jensen

If you have a pretty new card in youre pc you should be ok, is just a matter of getting youre leads does youre card have an S-U VIDEO OUT (super video out) connector? If so then it is a straight forward hook up.
