Fireman Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 yeah, I think pedals will be my next toy.......... Quote
Blairgowrie Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Why would you want to do that Tom? Something wrong? Quote
APHill Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 I just cant seem to get used to them. They are a good product but man I can hit a barn door.Since I cant feel the aircraft as I could in a real plane, I find myself even pushing the opposite pedal then the one I need. I also over control Quote
Klinger Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Dont bin 'em yet AP. I hated my Saitek peds when I first got them. They seemed counter-intuatve, specially when trying to aim. And I was stiil twisting pointlessly on the stick, lol. After I slackened the yaw settings in game, and calibrated them in controll panel. they seemed better, but it took about 6 weeks to get really comfortable with them. I wouldn't be without them now, some manouvres such as slipping, and trimming German planes (no rudder trim) is much easier. Give them another go m8. Quote
APHill Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Hi Klinger Well ok you talked me into it! I'll give it another go. You tweaked the yaw settings.....You wouldn't have a copy of that ini file per chance?? Quote

APHill Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Thanks Klinger, I will give it a try. I do like the smoothness of the CH stick. Now if I can just get smooth on the Quote
Cold_Gambler Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Just to add to Klinger's advice => definitely change the rudder sentivity because (unlike aileron and elevator) the default is not progressive but rather 100 from the get-go. I was also over-controlling rudder before I changed this. Quote
