BadAim Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 waaay cool! These things have to be preserved. Quote
Enforcer57 Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006  Wow!!! Seafires and a sunderland. A rare shot of RAF jugs. A little attention in photoshop would help the damage....ill see what i can do. These are priceless. Thanks for helping preserve such for future reference. God knows how many pix are laying around or even discared accidentally. The seafire on the lighter is interesting. and the crane lifting one...wow. of course, i dont see a tail hook, so those could be RAF spits...look at the camo job. I wonder what the colors are.....I dont think that's grey and green. dunno. and that transport....isnt that a viscount? I dont have my ref books handy. where all did he serve? if you have any info like that, we would all be fascinated to hear. Quote
Beebop-RIP Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Great pics! Thanks for sharing. The first one gives me an idea for the FMB. Quote
Beebop-RIP Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 OK, I'm back. Yes, it can be done. Real Life: FMB Replica: Quote
Waldo.Pepper Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 and that transport....isnt that a viscount? I think the transport is in fact a C-54. Little round windows along the fuselage match the C-54 from here... http://www.photovault.com/Link/Military ... FV09P13_05 Great pictures, very kind of you to share. ------ WAY COOL Beebop! can you also rig it with a Spitfire/Seafire? Quote

DDz Quorum Posted June 27, 2006 thanks for the nice comments guys. there are loads more in the box. not any more planes though. the others are mainly scenery shots, although there are a few of heroshima (spell?) after the bomb. is it ok to post them like i did or would individual pics be better?
