Dagger Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 More than 400 posters from both World Wars of great quality, almost all of them in English. The exe file is the viewer for the djvu file. http://files.filefront.com/WW+postersra ... einfo.html Quote
Rattler Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Thanks, Dagger. I'm downloading them now. I'm teaching Nationalism in Social Studies this year, and I'm sure that some of these will look good on the bulletin board. Cheers! National Socialism in Studies this year? Quote
Enforcer57 Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Heh heh. You have a neat job Rattler. At least somebody is teaching REAL history. I bet you are the most PC guy in the school......... Quote
BadAim Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Tanks Dagger, I love this stuff, downloading now! Quote
Snacko Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Is this a program that installs on your computer, or just some images? Quote
Dagger Posted August 5, 2008 Author Posted August 5, 2008 Start the exe, which is a special viewer, no install is needed. Once you start the viewer, open with it the djvu file. Quote
Klinger Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 I stumbled across this Hollywood archive containing loads of propaganda posters, postcards, book covers, adverts and satirical art from both World Wars. Some of the posters in particular are quite horrific, bearing in mind the the censorship policies of the day. This is one of the milder posters. Quote
