1. DDz Quorum B16Enk Posted February 23, 2006 1. DDz Quorum Posted February 23, 2006 Hi Guys (and Gals ). There has been a flurry of work going on in the background, and Arsenal has come up with this as a background for our web design, it will have clickable buttons/areas and will form the basis of the theme for our site. Please let us know what you think so far, there are more changes coming Quote
Sloan Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Now that's what I'm talking about! Many props to you Arsenal. You do good work. Quote

delta7 Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 here is a link to another pic I was going to work on for the site- http://kalaniosullivan.com/KunsanAB/Oth ... nsanGN.jpg It shows a guy leaning against a notice board that I was going to photoshop a bit and thought it would be a good background to put information links onto the board -however I think Arsenal would do a much better job - so if Rog and Arsenal could work some majic on this I think it would be a nice tie in. If you guys are too busy and want me to give it a go then let me know and I will see what I can come up with Quote
Beebop-RIP Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 That's very nice! (I apologize to the HellHounds for my shoddy work by comparison) Quote
Blairgowrie Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Just great Jeremy. Nostalga and professionalism rolled into one. The only thing missing is a gas mask. I remember it well! Quote
JensenPark Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 okay: First of all guys: very, very nice! Reminds me of the 'ready room' of EAW. Well done and thanks. Second: Psycho - well done. The meds are working. Most calm you've been in a while. Third: Zeus - best avatar I've seen yet. Brave man in a room full of dogs! Quote
Blairgowrie Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Yeah Zeus, that avatar is beginning to pee me off. Nice job m8. Quote
Waldo.Pepper Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I think the grey background with the blue font here; http://www.k9squadrons.com/ is hard to read. Sorry You asked! Quote

Sloan Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I've seen other sites effectively use old photos of pilots in front of their planes, only they paste in the players face over top and modify the markings on the plane. Would this be an idea we would want to pursue? I don't wanna rip anyone else off, but its a fairly common practice among squadron websites. I don't think itd be too much awful work. I could help with the photoshop'ing if needed. We could even do a group shot in front of one plane to make the image editing easier. Perhaps have each squad in front of a plane bearing its respective team logo. Also, if this has already been suggested consider me:  Quote

DoubleTap Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Thumbs on the design! An original and very pleasing to the eye. Quote
guitarman68 Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 I like the ideal of old pilot photos with the faces edited,it looks very good when its done right and adds to the theme of the web site but makes it look original with all the ugly mugs(peoples faces for the none english)doctored with squadrons faces. Quote
