DD_Bucky Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Well guys, its the N.H.L. Stanely Cup playoffs again. Here's how us hockey fans sing our national anthem. BTW this is from the 2006 playoffs in Edmonton Alberta. Enjoy. Quote
JensenPark Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 now that was cool - haven't seen that before. Oilers fans won't be seeing that this year...Go Flames I guess. Quote
Rattler Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 now that was cool - haven't seen that before. Oilers fans won't be seeing that this year...Go Flames I guess. We heard it for the last 25 games while we were still in the hunt. Screw the Flames - Go San Jose!!!!! Quote
BadAim Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Damn, Bucky. I was wellin' up there I'll not hold my breath to see something like that here Quote
DD_Bucky Posted April 17, 2008 Author Posted April 17, 2008 Glad you like it guys.Whats really cool is the Edmonton fans also sang the American Anthem as well. Not as loud, but they sang it.A class act all the way. Quote
Enforcer57 Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Ha, that's rich. Most Americans couldn't sing the national anthem because they don't remember the words. I liked the Mounties in th e background....that's really stirring seeing all those folks singing like that. I gotta go there someday, maybe dig some holes for BG (depending on the pay). The only thing they needed were some lumber jacks......Monty Python style. Yeah, Michal Palen stepping up and singing the "I'm a lumberjack and I'm ok, I cut down trees and I work all day", complete with the Mounty support singers. Oooops, sorry, my warped mentality came forward again. I promise not to sing the "Blame Canada" song from the Southpark movie again......well, for a while anyway. I was so inspired that I watched that again and sent a link to some friends. Quote

Streak Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Someone remind me NEVER to accept an invitation to play ice hockey... Ok how about being a referee. You can be the only one out there without pads. Quote
