does anyone know of a suitable cable that would link a windows computer running ME to a Vista one. A friend has asked me to help.

Any offers?

Cheers

Cat 5E cross-over cable (provided you have both machine with an ethernet card).

If you havent got any ethernet cards I've got a hand full you can have ;)

If you have USB active on the ME machine then you could always use a USB stick or USB hard drive.

she wants to move lots of photos, so a memeory stick is out.

How would the network cable solution work?

Using network cards and a crossover cable (negates then need for a network switch) would allow you to transfer data as you would through a home or office network.

Don't forget that you can get 8Gb+ memory sticks.
