picked this up from Smurfy on the ukded forums - they have good feedback on this and I think its an improvement - its a beta but stable on my machine - there are 2 links , I used the second one - download mirror 2 -for my 6600 card - can now play perfect at decent frame rates with 4* AA and 4*AF- dots seem much clearer to spot -

Really very simple Fireman. Just grab the two new dll's, find the old ones in your Il2 game folder, delete or rename the old ones and replace with the new.

When we get the final 4.09m patch, the new ones should be included.

They've tended to offer some optimizations to graphics and such (longer viewing distances LandGeom=3)

Where did Tanky move on to.....he joined us a little while back and I havent seem him at all lately

Good question Andrew. He used to be one of our keenest pilots. I know he was deeply involved in some other game but I thought he would continue to show up for SEOW. Time for an email.
