Next Foothold Campaign - Syria

Hello chaps

I would like to propose we hold off starting the next campaign until the Herc has been released (which should be very soon) and has been updated into the Campaign logic.

If this gets pushed back by a chunk then we will start it regardless in a few weeks and update when appropriate.

New features that have been added into the campaign.

Do we want to use?

• Each pilot death loses 100 points from total
• Players earn ranks by the amount of points they earn
• Only players above certain ranks can buy certain items
• SA10 and 11's can be removed from the campaign
• Turn off Kill notifications

• Each pilot death loses 100 points from total - This is certainly a good incentive for the individual but may affect team progress. Fewer banzai attacks, but may be good to get more longevity out of the campaign.
• Players earn ranks by the amount of points they earn - Sure why not
• Only players above certain ranks can buy certain items - Looks like the Milkybars are on @fruitbat then.
• SA10 and 11's can be removed from the campaign - Nah, let's keep them in, makes it more of a challenge!
• Turn off Kill notifications - We had this at the start of Caucasus didn't we? Adds to the excitement and mystery (and realism). Will we still get the points notification upon landing?

Ref the kill notifications - yes I think I forgot to turn them off when I upgraded the version. You will still get the scores when you make it back to base. I would be in favour of turning them off.

Ref the SAM levels - I agree. Going after the high numbered SAMs means we have to coordinate, which can only be good.
