More Advise on what to Do

May I have a little advise from those in the know on a couple questions?

You jogged my failing memory Pook.

I had a conflict in T/S between the audio hardware on the graphics card, and my PCI Creative soundcard.

Once I pointed T/S at the soundcard I was ok.

Dont know if yours is a related issue.

The other device is something that has tried to install but has quite managed it.

I would try and track it down as to what it maybe. I don't think the above are related.

I know for sure I removed the old GPU and put the new one in the same slot, no other cards were moved or taken out.

If the thing started with after you put the GPU in then there could very well be something with the card that still needs installing.

I've just installed the drivers for the X850 on my server and it installed 2 x VGA displays (primary and secondary) and I had something else in the Device Manager install (it was listed as Other Device).

I installed the Omega ATI drivers and it stated that it did not include the WDM drivers.

Dont worry about uninstalling your graphics card just yet.
