Klinger Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 I had a similar problem. On startup, it would tell me I was missng a .MOM file, and I couldn't access the CCC. It was related to not having MS .Net framework to version 2.0: Quote
1. DDz Quorum Pooka Posted February 4, 2008 Author 1. DDz Quorum Posted February 4, 2008 Boy this is going way over my head. I have Net. Framework 2.o Service Pack 1 but I don't have Net. Framework 1.1 or Hotfix KB928366 This is some of the stuff I lost last time I uninstalled ATI, but BBloke did a VNC and it straightened out. Quote
BBloke Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Bloody thing and I dont think you are alone either. Quote
1. DDz Quorum Pooka Posted February 4, 2008 Author 1. DDz Quorum Posted February 4, 2008 Just did another reboot and all seems well, so maybe its gone. I did Dl Tool Trays to desktop and will leave it there for now. Another small item, There is a real small white square in the top left corner of the monitor at times, normal?? Also some of the colors have changed, in the mail box and AVG some colors are different, the reds are still bright red and all other OK, but some of the large print is different. Well, if this stays like it is I'm very very satisfied, now to pick away at FPS. Pooka Quote
Klinger Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 On the CCC screen, hit preferences, select Disable Quote
BBloke Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Cool Pooka glad its sorted itself out. Thanks on the MagicBright think Klinger.. haven't bothered with that one yet but will be looking at it later. Quote
Klinger Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Hey Pooka. I think you may not have got the PM yesterday. Heres the gist of it m8. Quote
1. DDz Quorum Pooka Posted February 7, 2008 Author 1. DDz Quorum Posted February 7, 2008 I did get your message the day before yesterday, sent a reply to the last Email address you used and it came back undelivered. Quote
Klinger Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I made the assumption that vertical refresh is the same as v-synch. It did stop the 'shearing'. I was getting 35 fps min until one little stutter at about 60 seconds into the track. After that it was smooth again, but the min fps stayed at 15. My e-mail is '.co.uk' not '.com' m8. You're not the first to mistype that. Theres loads of info and links to stuff about your mobo here: Quote
BBloke Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Yeah, V-Sync locks your maximum FPS to your Refresh Rate and stops any image tearing sue to frames rendering to the screen before the last one has totally disappeared. There is a stutter point in the Black Death track when the LA hits the 190. Quote
