Blairgowrie Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Have you ever needed to reformat and reinstall your Windows OS only to be burdened with having to find all your various device drivers either on CD’s or the Internet? Instead of this, create a backup of your currently installed drivers with DriverMax. DriverMax is a FREE program which allows you to archive your currently installed drivers and if you ever need to reinstall them, do the installations all at once. No need to try to find the version you “were†Quote
Okie Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Hey, that's a nifty program Jim. I ran it and made a backup. Have you actually used it to install your drivers on a fresh XP install? I guess if you did and it didn't work you wouldn't be listing it here. Quote
Blairgowrie Posted January 27, 2008 Author Posted January 27, 2008 I just got notice of it today Ed Quote
Okie Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Right On! That's a great find. I'm going to go around and make a backup of all my machines today just to have them all on one CD. Now is the perfect time since everything is running spot-on. I need to do some other backups too for safety's sake so this is a good kick start to get me motivated. Thankx BG! Quote

1. DDz Quorum B16Enk Posted February 4, 2009 1. DDz Quorum Posted February 4, 2009 Nice find! I got it to check my drivers too, and it gave me this nice little report: Driver Status Computer Information Reports it as Server 2003, as it is XP64, and made a mistake about video RAM - 1Gb but later it says 512Mb. Impressed! Quote
Blairgowrie Posted February 4, 2009 Author Posted February 4, 2009 My goodness. I had completely forgotten that I posted this. Quote
