Klinger Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Just plugged in the new 'Pro' version of the X52, as a replacement for the old vanilla X52. The software would not work. Ok. I backed up, then uninstalled the Saitek software, rebooted, installed the X52 Pro software, and pasted in my old profile. No joy. The picture of the stick and throttle in the profile editor looks corrupted. Have I got a dodgy install? Is the X52 and X52 Pro compatable, software-wise? If not, is there a less laborious way of configging the buttons, than going all through it manually? Cheers. Quote
Klinger Posted January 17, 2008 Author Posted January 17, 2008 Apparently the X52 and X52Pro use different file systems. X52 is .dat - Pro is .pr0 All part of the fun, I suppose. I've gone back to the old controller for now. Quote
