1. DDz Quorum Friar Posted December 22, 2007 1. DDz Quorum Posted December 22, 2007 This is probably a silly question, but here goes anyway. When I want to work an seow campaign, testing the mission planner etc, it only works if i shut down my zone alarm av/firewall suite. So to be safe, before shutting it down I pull the power lead from my router to isolate myself. My question is, to save keep doing this, can i just disable the connection through the control panel. When I do this i am not able to connect to the internet, i take it it would still stop traffic the other way? My router is a netgear dg834g Quote
Klinger Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 Right click on Connection symbol in taskbar and disable/enable works for me. Quote
BBloke Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 Didn't we figure that ZA needs to be set to Medium on both sliders in the firewall main section to cure this one? You are still safe even with ZA closed if you are behind a router. Quote
