Why is my screen distorted,stretched, suddenly?

Ok, more wierd stuff from me. I was trying to build a misn tonight, and I couldnt access the file column on the left of the FMB. I had to basically guess where "load" was in the drop down menu.

Then, I tried to fly and noticed that everything, planes, maps etc, was stretched. I havent changed anything....not resolution, nothing. It looks absurd. Any ideas how I can get my perspective back?

check your config file hasnt been corrupted. you can change resolution in there. see here for all variables

your config file is in the main il246 folder, right click it and open with notepad to edit it.
