What version did you get to Mobius? Did you install the DVD and then the 4.08 patch plus the no DVD crack? You might be clicking on the wrong icon. I don't think it has anything to do with your new monitor m8 if you can see everything else on it.

That usually means you missed something small in your config.

I did not do a new install of the game.

I just fired up mine so I know this is a good Config:

Use3Renders=0

Copy that exactly into your conf.ini and if it doesn't work we'll have to look elsewhere.

I went to il2 set up and picked the highest res 1280x960.

It could be that your video card is the limiting factor

Check my post in GD and pony up the 3 bills for a X1950 Pro

At 1280x960 it will still look a little stretched, but better than 1280x1024.

I think you will still need to be sure that your saveaspect line will need to be set to 0

Just grab the crack from here Mobius m8. http://www.dangerdogz.com/downloads/p13_sectionid/11

Move it right into your il2 1946 game folder. Right click on the icon, send to, desktop. You can either delete your original icon first or remane it if you want to keep it.

Look forward to hearing how you are "making out" in Florida. Do you have fresh orange juice before or after or both?

You can D/L a program called Fraps

http://www.fraps.com/download.php

There is a free version which is all you need.

No harm in trying it

Run the Blackdeath track and see what your frame rates are (use fraps or the in-built fps).

Minimum will be very low and is to be expected, take a note of your average though, you want mid 30's at least I would say.
