FPS Drop w/ 4.07

I knew things weren't looking just right... I did a fps check this morning and came away with some interesting figures.

Quazi had about half that loss and got them back with the no-DVD exe.

Have you checked your video settings on the Il2 Setup menu? Mine defaulted to a Nvidia card after I installed 4.07m but I run a ATI 850XT PE.

That wouldn't explain why your FPS for each version are different but it would affect your frames rates overall.

The video settings I use are from Coasties, (custom), I tried the x800 and get the same numbers

for Avg/Max/Min but the jaggies are horrible.

I had a frame rate drop when I first installed it but I just copied over my old config file from 4.05 install into 4.07 and everything went back to normal

I think I may have posted abit on this already.. the default install of 46 has 3dgunners set to 1 and it would lower frame rates.

I checked the 3dgunners and had already moved it to 0 result of your previous post.

I checked Steve v stats and found his water at 0, mine was 1.
