OK. Why can I play offline @ 1280 res smooth as glass, but when I fly with the Dogz I have to back my res down and lower all the details and still not be able to play as smooth as offline.

Maybe a closer look at the difference between whats running when offline and whats running when on may help set some pointers.

Whether I'm playing Guild Wars, PF, WW2 Fighters, B-17, JOIC or AA, I always as a rule of thumb shutdown all messengers, and only have open what I need. If I have just one messenger (Yahoo, MSN, etc,) then one message tends to crash the game or at the least take away from precious bandwidth.

It may not be a driect EXE as such but a DLL that is loaded as part of running an EXE.

Yes I shut down all messager programs.
