I'm starting to get really confused about all the versions coming out at once. If I wait long enough, will I be able to buy a DVD version that has everything all rolled into one?

as far as I know the 46 dvd will be the final dvd version and the patch announced the final patch to clear up any issues with dvd release and to include the maps

That's my take on it too Delta. Patch 4.08 will be a free add-on but it won't be coming soon.

I also remember seeing a thread about a semi-real Italy map being confirmed for release in that last patch.

Um, Ok, Ill bite. I understand it also has the UFO that crashed at Roswell NM in 47, included so we can do Foo Fighter misns. I bet the flight model is porked. Instantaneous acceleration fromn 0 to mach 20 in .5 second instead of the more realistic .7 second.
